Injection molding machine consists of injection system, molding clamping system, hydraulic system, electronically controlled system, lubrication system, heating and cooling system, safety monitoring system etc.
(1)Injection system
Injection system function: injection system is the most important of injection molding machine, include: plunger type、screw、Screw plunger injection . At persent screw is the most widely use. It effect is, in a cycle of plastic injection molding machine ,can melt a certain amount of plastic within the stipulated time, under certain pressure and velocity ,through the screw to make plastic inject mold cavity. When the injection over, finalize the design for membrane cavity of molten material in moulding chamber.
Injection system composition: injection system by plasticizing devices and power transmission device component.
(2)Mold clamping system
Mold clamping system function: the mold clamping system function is to guarantee the mold close, open and push out the products. Meanwhile, in the mold closing for giving mould adequate clamping force, to resist into molten plastic mould cavity produce cavity pressure, prevent mould open seams, cause bad situation for the product.
Mold clamping system composition: mold clamping system mainly consists of molding clamping device, molding-adjustment system, ejector institutions, front fixed template, movable platen, molding clamping cylinders and safety protection mechanism composition.
(3)Hydraulic system
The hydraulic system on the injection molding machine provides the power to open and close the mold, build and hold the clamping tonnage, turn the reciprocating screw, drive the reciprocating screw, and energize ejector pins and moving mold cores. It mainly consists of each type of hydraulic components and hydraulic auxiliary components of pump and motor, which is the source of power injection molding machine. Various valve control oil pressure and flow, thereby satisfy the injection molding process requirements.
(4)Electronically controlled system
The reasonable combination of electronically controlled system and hydraulic system can realize injection molding machine process requirements (pressure, temperature, speed, time) and various program action. It mainly consists of electrical, electronics, instruments, heater, sensor etc. There are four control mode：manual, semiautomatic, automatic, adjustments.
(5)Heating and cooling system
The heating system is use for heating cylinder and injection nozzle, injection molding machine heating cylinder used electric heating rings to heat, installed in externa of the heating cylinder and used the external thermocouple piecewise detection，heat through the inner thermal conductivity provide heat source for materials plastication. Cooling system is mainly used for cooling oil temperature, the oil temperature is exorbitant can cause various faults occur so oil temperature must be controlled. Another place in need to cool near the cylinder feed opening, avoid raw material melt in feed opening, lead to raw material can’t normally blanking.
(6)Lubrication system
Lubrication system is injection mould machine core plate，adjustment device、connecting rod machine hinge etc place has the relative motion parts provide lubrication condition circuit，In order to reduce energy consumption and to thus extending the time span of the parts. lubrication maybe is a regular manual lubrication or automatic electric lubrication
(7)Safety monitoring system
Safety monitoring system is mainly used to protection for people, machine safety devices. Consists of emergency exits, hydraulic valve, limit switches, photoelectric detection components and other components, realize the electrical- machinery - hydraulic interlocking protection. Monitoring system mainly monitor injection molding machine’s oil temperature, material temperature, system overload, process and equipment, if found anything unusual will send alarm signal.
